So Colin Kaepernick doesn’t want to stand for the National Anthem? Fine. Then get him off the field. If this country that has given him the opportunity to make millions of dollars playing a game is so awful that he doesn’t want to honor the flag, then get him off the field. People of color are being oppressed? Really? Because the last time I checked the people in charge of it for the past eight years are people of color. How are you oppressed when you are in charge?
A cop in St. Louis defends himself against a guy big enough to be one of your offensive linemen and the federal government is there in a flash ready to bury him the next morning. Who is oppressed here? The Attorney General of the united States attends this punk’s funeral after he robbed a store owner twice his age and one third his weight, then tried to beat up a cop. Who is oppressed again?
Black Lives Matter thugs kill cops in Dallas and not a word from the White House for days. Nobody goes to any of the funerals. They don’t even want to lower the flags that you despise and only do it begrudgingly two or three days later. Who is oppressed again?
Black Lives Matter is a complete joke. You want proof? Note the lack of rioting and looting over the death of Dwyane Wade’s cousin, a 32 year old woman walking a baby in a stroller to go register her kids for school. She gets hit twice by stray bullets when two of your black lives opened fire on another and took hers out while they were at it. Does her black life matter? No. Why? Because she wasn’t killed by a white cop?
There are far, far, FAR more black lives snuffed out in similar circumstances to D-Wade’s cousin than there are killed by white cops. And the vast majority of the one taken by cops, had it coming. Cops are not out using black men for target practice or killing them out of boredom. There is a reason these guys are getting shot by cops. Ask Wade’s cousin about that.
So if Colin thinks that these guys are just innocent victims, then he should get his head out of his ass. Her’s a thought Colin. Go put a uniform and badge on for a few days and walk a beat in a drug and prostitution infested neighborhood and get a look at what life for a cop is really like before you decide they are singling out people of color. You are light skinned enough one of them might mistake you for a white cop and take a shot at you. Then maybe you’ll be more than happy to stand on an NFL sideline during the anthem.
