Clearly, the existing strikers for Man U were not up to snuff, hence the acquisition of Van Persie. As a matter of fact, he is now the only striker in that line up that seems to have a guaranteed starting spot every week. And again, take away his goals, and Man U are thoroughly mediocre.

Irrelevant point, they wouldn’t be in 15th place, as they would have another striker eg. Rooney or Hernandez to score the goals and have take the opportunities RVP has take! So I disagree with this article and think you should stop writing about football! You are completely wrong! And there is no such term as a one man team, because you could say that for any team for example if It wasn’t for dzecko city wouldn’t be where they are now with the late goals he’s scored! You are wrong and that’s it!

Yeah I was kind of shocked that he wasn’t let go last year too. I think them going 5-3 to end the season is what saved him though. It kinda gave management false hope that they would bring that momentum into this year. But as we see that didn’t happen. Thanks for the comment,

They should have gotten rid of Reed at the end of last season, and we the fans were stunned when it never happened. So I am not surprised to see the Birds in the position they are in.

I thought the start with the memorial was beautifully done, too. The first half seemed a little slow with the nil-all score but it was still giving out that intense feeling with all of the energy from both teams, especially Liverpool. I am a supporter of Manchester United but I feel that tonight I shouldn’t be feeling proud. Too many people are trying to convince me that it was cheap luck for United. I don’t want to absorb such feedback and go by it. I can honestly say that I’m still proud with the ‘ luck ‘ United had received today. I do agree that it was a little hard on Liverpool due to the decisions the ref. had been making and the good player they lost, but sometimes things don’t go as expected. Especially with Football. Within a few minutes, many things can turn right out. All in all, the game was pretty intense and as you said, both teams did well. Good job on the article as well, well and fairly written. :- )
