Vote for the BadaSSitude Player of Week 11

Week 11 of the NFL featured some awesome action. The Lions overcome a 13 point halftime deficit to beat the Panthers. Tebow works his magic and helps the Broncos defeat the Jets. The Packers kept their undefeated streak alive against the Bucs. The Bills suffer yet another loss, after starting the season hot. The Cowboys find a way to take care of the Redskins in a thrilling overtime victory. Out of the week 11 games, four players shined above the rest and receive the nomination for BadaSSItude Player of the Week.

The first player we nominate is Matthew Stafford #9, quarterback for the Detroit Lions. Stafford had an amazing game against the Panthers, competing 28 of 36 passes for 335 yards and five touchdowns. Stafford has played at a high level all year, and this game was no exception. The Lions were down at halftime, but Stafford led the Lions to a win by throwing three of his touchdowns in the second half.

The second player we nominate is Jordy Nelson #87, wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. Nelson made the most of his six catches by compiling 123 yards and two touchdowns against a decent Bucs defense. Nelson continues to be one of Rodgers favorite targets this season, so you can expect more games like this from Nelson for the rest of the season.

The third player we nominate is Rob Gronkowski #87, Tight End for the New England Patriots. Gronkowski only had four receptions, but was able to turn those receptions into 96 yards and two touchdowns. Gronkowski caught both of Brady’s touchdown passes and continues to be Brady’s favorite target on the field. You can look for Gronkowski to continue his dominance this season.

The fourth player we nominate is Kevin Smith #30, running back for the Detroit Lions. Smith also had a big game for the Lions in this game, running 16 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Smith gave the Lions two much needed scores in this high scoring game they were in with the Panthers. Without Smith’s great game, the turnout of the game could have been much different.
