Week nine of the NFL promises to be a good one, with many key games. The Cowboys will look to bounce back against the Seahawks after being embarrassed by the Eagles. One team will pick up its second win when the Rams and the Cardinals meet up in Arizona. The Rams are winless on the road, and the Cardinals only have one win at home, so this game should be interesting. Both the Dolphins and the Colts will stay winless this week. Are they both trying to gun for Andrew Luck, or are they really this bad? The Colts are only missing one player, so that doesn’t give their defense the right to suck. The Dolphins just plain suck. Enough with my rant, let’s talk about the three must see games to watch this week.
The first game you need to see is the Giants vs the Patriots. The Patriots are coming off of a heart breaking loss to the Steelers. The Giants barely survived the winless Dolphins, but they did get a win, placing them firmly at the top of the NFC East. The Patriots will be looking for redemption: from their loss last week, and their loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. Both teams are 5-2, and both teams have high powered offenses. This game will be featuring two of the top three rated quarterbacks and promises to be a thrilling game. The Giants will need to be on top of their game if they want to beat the Patriots on their home turf. The Patriots should be playing this game with a chip on their shoulders, but the Giants are no pushovers. I predict that the Patriots will pick up the win I what will be a very close game. The final score: Giants 20 Patriots 24.
The second game that you should watch is the Packers vs the Chargers. The Chargers will be one of the Packer’s big road blocks to an undefeated season. The Chargers are coming off of a crazy loss to the Chiefs and certainly don’t want to lose back to back games. The Packers have not lost on the road, or at all, and the Chargers haven’t lost at home. Rivers had one of his worst games last week, going Romo and costing his team a win. The Packers are coming off of their bye week and should be ready to go this week with the best quarterback in the NFL leading them into battle. I predict that the Chargers will take their first loss at home, with the final score being 27-17.
The third game that you need to see is the Ravens vs the Steelers. Big Ben and the Steelers will be looking for revenge after the beat down they suffered at the hands of the Ravens earlier in the season. The offenses are starting to heat up, so I look for this to be a high scoring affair. Can the Ravens go into Pittsburg and beat the Steelers for the second time this season? Or can the Steelers redeem their selves and beat their rivals? One team will walk away with three losses, and I think that team will be the Steelers. That’s right, the Ravens are going beat the Steelers again, though not as bad as the first time. The final score: Ravens 34 Steelers 27.
